ACYY/ACYY-F Cable Application
ACYY / ACYY-F is a cable for power supply to power stations. This cable can be installed in open or confined areas, underground (in pipes), in sewers, in concrete, in places where no mechanical damage is expected

Insulation: PVC compound DIV 1
Bedding: Extruded elastomere or plastomere compound or plastic tape
Sheath: PVC compound DMV 1
ACYY / ACYY-F Cable – Technical data and tests
Rated voltage Uo/U : 0.6/1 kV.
Test voltage : 4 kV AC or 12 kV DC, 5 min.
Min. cable temperature : installation : -5º C.
Max.permissible operating temp. : 70º C.
Max. short-circuit temperature : 160º C.
Min. bending radius at installation : 15 x cable diameter – single-core cable;
12 x cable diameter – multicore cable.
Max. tensile strain during instal. : max. 50 N/mm².
Cable standard : HD 603 S1/3G-2; IEC 60502.
Conductor type : class 1 or 2, according to EN 60228.
Flame retardancy: ACYY : EN 50265-2-1 (IEC 60332-1) – flames on a single vertical cable.
ACYY-F : EN 50266-2-4 (IEC 60332-3-24 Cat. C) – flames on a bunch of cables.
