1. ConstructionConductors: Flexible class 5 complying with SANS 1411-1, made from tinned annealed copper wires, left lay. Insulation: Ethylene propylene thermosetting compound type RD 3, complying with SANS 1411-3.

Core of Cable Three tinned copper/nylon braid screened power cores and one unscreened pilot core, laid up in right-hand lay around rubber (RD1) filler center.

Inner SheathPoly-chloroprene thermosetting compound type RS 6, complying with SANS 1411-3.

Re-enforcementAn open nylon braid with a minimum of 16 nylon strings.

Outer SheathPoly-chloroprene thermosetting compound type RS 6, complying with SANS 1411-3. Inner and outer sheath are bonded for proper torsional protection, black.

3. Applications

Suitable for electrically driven machines and movable electric apparatus in hazardous areas. Ideal for small pumps, fans, and drills (2.5 mm²). Shuttle cars (16 mm²). Types 16 and 25 mm² suitable for reeling.

Standard length cable packing is 1000m on drums. Other forms of packing and delivery available on request.
