Type MP-GC 8kV 15kv 8000V/15000V EPR/CPE Heavy Duty Mine Power Feeder Cable

Application:
Type MP-GC is for use in high voltage connections between power distribution systems in mines, mine tunnels, shafts and mine load centers systems that require an internal ground check conductor, for added safety. It is suitable for installation in ducts, troughs, tray or direct burial in non-flexing applications. The cable is for applications up to 15,000 volts and temperatures from -20° to +90°C.

Construction:

Conductors: Stranded annealed bare copper conductor.

Conductor Shield:Semi-conducting layer.

Insulation:EPR.

Insulation Shield:Semi-conducting layer + copper tape.

Ground Check Conductor:Copper conductor with a yellow polypropylene insulation.

Grounding Conductor:Tinned copper conductor.

Sheath: Chlorinated Polyethylene(CPE), black. Other sheath materials can be offered upon request.

Options:Other jacket materials such as CSP/PCP/NBR/PVC are available upon request.

Two-layer jacket with reinforcing fibre between the two layers can be offered as an option.
