Our Category A rated voltage cables are designed for situations requiring grounding fault lasting no more than 1 minute. For Category B rated voltage cables, the grounding fault lasting time is typically not over 1 hour, with a maximum lasting time of 8 hours. The annual ground fault lasting time for Category B cables should not exceed 125 hours. Category C includes all systems except for Category A and B.
