Application

high-voltage cables are suitable for nominal voltages of up to 600 volts a.c. / 1,000 volts d.c and withstand temperatures of up to 180 °C. All cables of our HV product family are characterized by a high degree of roundness, which simplifies the processing. In the further development of the high-voltage sheathed cables, great importance is attached to the processability by our customers. A filling layer over the core stranding ensures a circular substructure for the multi-core, shielded sheathed cables. The braided shield can thus be cut off with rotary cutting systems without risk of injury to the actual core insulation. In addition, there is no need for filling elements and separating foils, which are difficult to remove.
