DESCRIPCIÓN

Los cables para distribución aérea autosoportados aislado con XLPE para tensiones hasta e inclusive 0,6 / 1 kV. Está formados por un conjunto de varios conductores cableados clase 2, de cobre recocido o aluminio puro, cada uno esta aislado con polietileno reticulado (XLPE) de color negro resistente a la intemperie, reunidos alrededor de un elemento portante de alta resistencia a la tracción que puede ser, de cobre duro o aleación de aluminio o acero galvanizado, con o sin aislamiento de polietileno reticulado (XLPE) de color negro resistente a la intemperie.

El conjunto puede incorporar también uno o más conductores aislados adicionales para alumbrado público.

APLICACIONES

Los cables autosoportados aislados con XLPE, se emplean para redes aéreas de distribución de energía eléctrica de bajo costo, en zonas urbanas y rurales.

Se instalan tanto en postes como adosados a muros, en ambos casos, con los debidos accesorios. No requieren el uso de aisladores.
