Product Description

Type SHD-GC cable is suitable for heavy duty medium voltage service as power supply for mining equipment where maximum safety is required. Commonly used to feed heavy mobile mining equipment such as shovels, dredges, drilling rigs, other off-track equipment. SHD-GC cables are designated to operate on three phases AC circuit, where grounding conductors and ground check conductor are required.
Features:
Nominal voltage:2kV~8kV
Flexible rope stranded, tin-coated copper conductor covered by a semi-conducting layer
Ethylene-propylene rubber (EPR) insulation
Tinned copper and color coded nylon braid
Identification of power conductors are black, white and red. The ground check conductor is yellow. The grounding conductor is bare annealed copper.
Three insulated conductors, two ground wires and a ground check are cabled together.
Heavy duty two layers of black neoprene or CPE, with reinforcement braid of rayon fiber cord between the layers.
Max permissible continuous operating temperature of conductor shall not exceed 90°C.
Meets or exceeds industry requirements of ASTM B3, ASTM B33, ICEA S-75-381 or other standards required by customers.
