10,15,20,35 kV APvEgaPu Waterproof high-voltage cable 

Application:
APvEgaPu – power cable with aluminum conductor, cross-linked polyethylene insulation, longitudinal and transverse sealing of the screen and a reinforced outer sheath of polyethylene. Designed for transmission and distribution of electrical energy in stationary installations at rated alternating voltage 10, 15, 20, 35 kV, frequency 50 Hz for networks with a solidly grounded neutral.

Explanation of APvEgaPu cable:
A – aluminum conductor
PV – cross-linked polyethylene insulation
E – screen of copper wires and spirally applied copper tape
ga – sealed against longitudinal and transverse spread of moisture with water-swelling tapes and aluminum-polymer tape
PU – polyethylene shell, reinforced with stiffeners
Design:
1. Aluminum stranded compacted conductor;
2. Inner extruded semiconductive layer;
3. XLPE insulation;
4. Outer extruded semiconductive layer;
5. Winding layer with semiconducting water-swellable tape;
6. Copper screen;
7. Winding layer with semiconducting water-swellable tape;
8. Aluminum polymer tape;
9. Reinforced outer shell made of polyethylene;

Cables made from cross-linked polyethylene APvEgaPu are used for laying:
in the ground (trenches);
in damp, partially flooded areas;
in soils with high humidity;
in non-navigable water bodies;
on difficult sections of routes;
in the air, incl. in cable structures, subject to the provision of additional fire protection measures.
