1. Application
The general type cables are suitable for rated AC voltage 0.6/1kV and below electric distribution lines without flame-retardant or fire-resistant requirements.

The flame-retardant type cables are not easy to burn or their flame propagation is limited only to a certain length. These cables are suitable for high installation density places like power stations, subways, tunnels, high-building, large industrial enterprises, oil fields, mines, etc.

The fire-resistance cables can not only operate in normal conditions but also can operate in a fire during a certain time. These cables are suitable for power stations, subways, high buildings, and other high human density places that have fire-proof and fire-fight requirements.

2. Construction:
• Conductor: Class 1 Solid Copper Class 2 stranded Copper/ Aluminum
• PVC insulation
• Filler: Polypropylene lament with lapped binding tape
• PVC inner sheath
• Armour: Galvanized steel tape
• Core-covering: Binding tape
• PVC outer sheath

3. Operating Features
Max. permissible operating temperature of the conductor is 70ºC.
Max. permissible temperature of the conductor during a short circuit(max. duration is not more than 5s) is not more than 165ºC.
The ambient temperature of installation is not lower than 0ºC.

4. Standards
PVC Insulated Power Cable meets or exceeds the following standards: IEC 60502, BS, DIN, ASTM, GB12706-2008 standards.
